John McMaster is M&S Integration Architect of NAVAIR’s Battlespace Modeling & Simulation Division, AIR5.4.2, responsible for development and enhancement of the ACETEF’s considerable Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) Integrated/Distributed capabilities, and for alignment with broader initiatives in the Defense Department.  He currently supports the Joint Test & Evaluation Methodology FY08 event, the Joint Battlespace Dynamic Deconfliction (JBD2), and is co-lead on a Joint Requirements Oversight Council - directed capabilities assessment of T&E infrastructure for testing Global Information Grid-enabled warfighting capabilities.  He is also the Integrated Battlespace Simulation & Test (IBST) representative on the Systems Engineering Technical Review improvement and alignment initiative, represents the IBST team on an Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development & Acquisition study of M&S enabling architectures.  With 15 years of experience developing and using LVC integrated/distributed environments, his efforts are now largely focused on reducing costs and increasing utility and capability.  He earned a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University in 1982.
