Our Chapter Supported the 47th Annual St. Mary's County Science and Engineering Fair. The fair was held February 2nd and 3rd at Great Mills High School. This year RDML Eastburg Head of Science and Engineering at NAVAIR spoke at the awards ceremony. We have provided a donation for the general expenses and presented special awards. A first and second place awards were given in the senior and junior divisions. The first place is award a $100 and the second place is awarded a $50 Honorable mention awards were also awarded and this year received $25. The award winners will be invited to our chapter meeting in March to be honored and share their projects with the membership. Karl Geist, Ted Warren, Zig Rafalik and John Walker were the judges at this year.

The Chapter BOD has committed to providing a minimum of $500 worth of support for the next three years 2007-2009. The breakout is as follows $100 for general expenses for the fair. $100 to defray the expenses to send a winner to the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. $150 in the Senior Division awards and $150 in the Junior Division awards.
