Our Chapter Supported the 48th Annual St. Mary's County Science and Engineering Fair. The fair was held February 2nd Great Mills High School. This year Captain Thomas Scassero Vice Commander for Naval Warfare Center, Aircraft Division spoke at the awards ceremony. We have provided a donation for the general expenses and presented special awards. A first and second place awards were given in the senior and junior divisions. The first place is award a $100 and the second place is awarded a $50 awards of $25 were also awarded. The award winners will be invited to our chapter meeting March 13th to be honored and share their projects with the membership. Karl Geist, Ted Warren, Mary Redshaw, Dale Raney, and John Walker were the judges at this year. Judy Walker contributed as secretary after the judging

The Chapter BOD has committed to providing a minimum of $500 worth of support for the next three years 2007-2009. The breakout is as follows $200 for general expenses for the fair. $100 to defray the expenses to send a winner to the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. $150 in the Senior Division awards and $150 in the Junior Division awards.
