Our Chapter Supported the 49th Annual St. Mary's County Science and Engineering Fair. The fair was held January 31st Great Mills High School. We have provided a donation for the general expenses and presented special awards. Awards were given in the senior and junior divisions. The award winners will be invited to our chapter meeting March 17th to be honored and share their projects with the membership. Ted Warren, Steve McKeown, Andrew Pollard, Dale Raney, Chris Utara and John Walker were the judges at this year. Judy Walker contributed as secretary after the judging. Steve McKeown presented the winners with checks at the award ceremony.

The Chapter BOD has committed to providing a minimum of $1300 worth of support for the next three years 2009-2011. The breakout is as follows $200 for general expenses for the fair. $100 to defray the expenses to send a winner to the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. Up to $1000 in the Senior Division and Senior Division awards.
